Better than I thought

Pipe clamps sometimes get a bad rap…sort of the grunt way of doing things. But with the feet on these Bessey clamps providing some clearance from your work table, bench, the ground, or whatever, I find these have a slight advantage over some other clamp styles. Add to that the ability to use this clamp at virtually any size/length, and at a good price…that’s a good package.

Best Pipe Clamp

Hands down the best model of pipe clamp available. The feet offer stability, clearance from the work surface and double as a hook for storage. All other models that offer this feature are more expensive. Also, all other models that offer non-marring pads do so separately, increasing cost noticeably when stocking up on clamps. These clamps are better and cheaper than the competition, can’t beat it. They’re even cheaper elsewhere online.

I made the mistake of buying ½ dozen Irwin clamps before I tried these. I was so happy that I bought 2 dozen Bessy’s after reading the reviews, which were favorable (not just Amazon reviews) that I will be purchasing another dozen. The feet have a much wider stance than any other clamp I have used and the clearance of the handle to the table is at least 3/8″ more than the Irwin’s (I did measure them). The finish is tough and the handle is not so slippery like the chrome. I also prefer the threaded end which makes for more stable work all around. The Pony clamp pads I had laying around fit perfectly too! 5 Stars *****
