Effective Solution!

I needed to retrofit a plug-in florescent light for a closet. I did not want the cord plug sticking out from the wall and snagging clothes, etc… so a recessed receptacle seemed to be the answer. The only problem for my purposes was the metal built-in clock hanger, but a couple of squeezes with a pliers took care of that problem! This unit is well made and designed to work perfectly for hanging electric clocks or other wall mounted devices and as in my case, can also be adapted for other uses where reducing the “wall bump” of a cord plug is desired.
