The Ultra Step stands parallel versus vertical surfaces, is staircase ready and operates in little spaces. Two sizes are available – 4′-6′ or 5′-8′ stepladders, extendable in one-foot increments.

Wing Enterprises, the maker of the celebrated Little Giant Ladder System, has lately launched this new line of ladders for home and professional use. This innovative line of ladders, known as the Ultra Step, has been designed distinctively to provide a lightweight substitute for those who need a 5′ – 8′ A-frame, and a ladder that may handle staircases or go vertically versus walls and corners. The Little Giant Ultra Step has a distinctive tripod-like design that gives the ladder Little Giant stability while delivering significant reduction in weight. Using the easy-to-use mechanisms well known to those who have ladders from Wing’s main lines, the ladder may adjust to fit staircases, sloping ground, and ramps. Additionally, with the tripod leg in the vertical position, users may get right up close to walls or corners, where with conventional A-frame ladders, the higher you go, the further you are from your work space. As has been shown in a heap of tests and comparisons, safety and quality have always been a priority at Little Giant. As such, the Ultra Step is rated up to 300 lbs, and meets or outperforms all applicable OSHA and ANSI standards. Additionally, Little Giant makes a fiberglass version of the Ultra Step for safe use for those who need to work with electrical components.

Will not work on all stairs

This ladder is strong and well built, but it is also quite heavy and I’m not someone who is normally worried about the weight of my equipment.

Perfect ladder — and made in the USA

This ladder is the perfect replacement for my 5-foot, old rickety wooden ladder. I have pulled its last splinter out of my hand. I’m very glad I followed the other advice to only get “as much ladder as you need.” I almost bought the 22-foot Little Giant, which would have been way too much ladder for me. This 5-to-8 foot model is perfect for anywhere I need to reach inside the house or the first level gutters outside.

my husband LOVES this!

i gave this to my husband as a christmas gift to replace an old wooden ladder that was pretty “scarey”. he loves it..and the adjustable height is awesome. he says he loves it and that it feels VERY sturdy and strong. folds up nicely and is a light enough weight not to be a big burden when using it around the house.
