A Waste of Money By Skiff Daddy I had one of these on my 7.5 HP Outboard which was on the transom of my fishing boat. I say “had,” because the scumbag who stole this motor pried it off with a tire iron. And from the look of it, there didn’t seem to be a whole lot of effort put into breaking it. He was nice enough to leave me the broken lock and the tire iron. It’s been said before that if someone really wants your outboard they’re going to figure out a way to steal it. But I don’t think this piece of junk even slowed the thief down.

Outboard Motor Lock By Diesel Ness My neighbor had this securing his outboard to his boat. Thieves cut the end opposite the lock with a pair of wire cutters and slid it off. By the looks of it, it took them very little effort to steal his motor. I wouldn’t buy one of these, it is not a serious anti-theft device.

Will work. By Jonathan D. Moynihan Product does as claims. I suggest putting lock and key in never-seize for prolonged life.
